Meet the Staff

General practice involves a group of professionals trained in health care. The doctors, receptionists and secretaries work closely with the health visitor, practice nurses, community nurses and midwives. All of these people can be contacted through the surgery reception, or by telephoning 01872 572255

Mary Gofton, Karen Hardwick, Helen Tellam and Mary Parrett are our practice nurses. They run our chronic disease clinics.
Laura Wright is our Health Care Assistant.

DISPENSARY

Pam Newton is our dispenser with Lucy Dawes and Louise King our dispensary assisstants. Anne Buckle works on our precriptions desk.

COMMUNITY STAFF

Our midwife, Josie Dodgson looks after our mums-to-be and arranges antenatal, relaxation and parentcraft classes.
Di Profaska leads our Community Nursing  team and Maria Albury is our Community Matron.
Karen Harris is our health visitor. Rachel Michael is the Health Visitor Assistant.

Community Psychiatric Nurses – Amber Vitae and Brian Thompson and for the elderly Jaqui Humphries. Cheryl Woon, Bie Miners and Anita Mitchell are our counsellors.

Social Services Team (Perranporth) and case co-ordinators are based in the Centre for Healthy Living.

 

CHEMISTS

  1. Boots (Perranporth), Kayes (Newquay) collect prescriptions from us weekly. Open until 9.00pm in the summer.
