The practice wishes to establish a group of patients who are willing to contribute some of their time to the development of the practice and its health services. A summary care record is an electronic record which allows healthcare staff to have faster and easier access to your medical information. They will be able to see what medications you take and any allergies you may have. This means that you will recieve safe treatment when your surgery is closed, . . . Using Health Records Dr O’Driscoll has joined us as a salaried Do ctor atPerranporth Surgery. Katey will be working with us twice a week. Transport Scheme (North Carrick Community Bus) As from Monday 30th March 2009 we will have a community bus available to patients who live in outlying areas. Initially, the community bus will serve St Newlyn East and surrounding areas. The scheme is being administered by Age Concern Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly. The service . . . Well we did it, we are at the end of the pilot project now and its time for me to say goodbye to you all. Sad though I am that it is time to go, I hope you have all been inspired to continue on your creative journeys as a result of this. . . . We are currently working with the Rural Transport Partnership towards setting up a community transport scheme in Perranporth. As yet we are not clear about the availability of the vehicle, but think it may operate over a couple of days each week. We anticipate the vehicle will be available to assist patients attending surgery . . . Perranporth Surgery Arts – Summer Review Hello there folks I’m back, three quarters of the way through and starting to evaluate the project, shocked at just how much we have done! During the last 5 months we will be wrapping a few groups up and leading them into new things; some are finding their own way and just one brand new one…..and also sadly thinking about finishing.
